Start by clearing your fire pit or stove area of any old ash or debris. Ensure the surface is dry to help your fire catch easily.

Arrange Your Wood or Fuel:
Stack your logs or firewood in a teepee or log cabin shape to create air flow. Make sure there's enough space between the logs for the fire starter to ignite easily. We suggest going with around 1-inch to 3-inches and 6-8 pieces.

Place Your Bee Kindling Fire Starter:
Take one of our unique Bee Kindling fire starters (like a heart, skull, paw print, or hexagon) and place it in the center of your wood stack. The beeswax-based material is designed to burn cleanly and evenly, ensuring a consistent start. If there is a wick use that other wise use an edge.

Light the Fire Starter:
Use a match or lighter to ignite the fire starter. No blow torch needed! The beeswax will melt, and the fire starter will catch quickly, providing a steady flame to ignite your wood.

Add More Wood as Needed:
Once your fire starter has caught, the surrounding wood should begin to burn. Add more wood as needed, keeping the fire fed to maintain a strong, steady flame.

Enjoy Your Fire:
Sit back and relax as you enjoy a warm, cozy fire.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. This helps maintain their effectiveness and prevents any potential deterioration.

Do not expose the fire starters to extreme temperatures, which can affect their look and possibly their performance. Store them in a temperature-controlled environment for optimal results.

While fire starters are designed to be used safely, they should be stored away from other flammable materials or sources of ignition to ensure safety.

Handle your fire starters gently to avoid damage. Some shedding is expected during shipping.

For return shipping, it is your responsibility unless we make a mistake (we are human, after all). 

You will receive a refund in the original form of payment up to the original amount but not including the initial shipping cost (which is free for you but does cost us to send). This can take 7-10 business days to show up on the account.
